Every year the final deliverable in RSS is the "reflective report,"
in which we ask students to think about their experiences throughout
the term and write about what they have learned.
Our main purpose is to get an understanding of, from your personal
perspective:
1) What you learned in RSS, along any dimension
(theory, implementation, systems, engineering,
teamwork, communications, etc.);
2) What went pretty much as you expected;
3) What went differently than you expected; and
4) How the RSS goal of both generalizing and specializing
worked out for you.
We're not looking for a magnum opus, but just a summary of your
reflections about your experience.
Some students may also wish to write about what they thought of RSS.
That would be great, and we welcome constructive feedback.
We strongly recommend that you write the report, or at least parts 1-3
of the report, after your team completes its final challenge
runs.
