Fall13/Sp14

Staff BioSketches

Tony Eng graduated from MIT and is now a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has taught 6.UAT (a course on oral presentation skills), a freshman programming course (6.001 - no longer offered), and a freshman advising seminar on Entrepreneurship and China. He started a company with some other MIT students, and that was a fun learning experience! His background (Computer Science, Biology, and Math), and his previous areas of research (Networking, Cryptography, Computation and Biology, and Text Mining) are symptomatic of an individual who gets bored easily. His interests include entrepreneurship, traveling, good food and badminton. He has a passion for learning about and trying new things - he'll try most things twice, so feel free to add new ideas and activities to his list!
