Bio
George Hotz (a.k.a geohot) became famous at the age of 17, by producing the first hardware unlock for the iPhone 2G, which allowed the phone to be used with mobile carriers not sanctioned by Apple. Since then, George contributed to software jailbreaks for the iPhone 3G and 3GS, as well as for the iPod Touch. Lately, George hacked Sony's PlayStation 3 by obtaining full hypervisor access from Other OS (a Sony-sanctioned method of running Linux on the PS 3).
