This was a fun article. You did a nice job of surveying Thorup's work on
these core problems, at just the right level of detail, offering lots of
insight into key ideas without being distracted by technical or
mathematical details. Some of the discussion of base sets versus level sets
got a bit muddled but overall it was navigable.
