Hope it's not too late...

Problem 3:

I feel like a is really hard and necessary for part b.
I know we're going to get a lot of coments like "well,
I didn't get part a, and part b depended on a, so there
goes 20 points down the drain". 

Perhaps during the exam we can give students the option
of having part "a" instantly graded. So, once they have
an answer, we can either give them 5 or 0 points and tell
them the right answer...

Problem 5 

This problem is really easy, perhas it should be worth
less points?
