Quiz 1:

Took me the entire 50 minutes.  And i didn't finish that last question on the invariant.  More about that later.

I didn't hvae any time to go back to my previous answers.  

Problem 1, 2 , 3 are okay.  A couple of my #1 answers i'm not sure about, but doable.  

Problem 4 -- part f -- says to explain modifications.  I cahnged a LOT of the proof, almost like rewriting it.  I'd leave more space for this one.  Maybe we should specify they should rewrite it.  I'm worried about people changing the connected part, but not going back to make sure the rest of teh proof still makes sense with this change.  

Problem 5 -- i think we need more space for part a for the state machine definitions.  Part c took me a while.  I'm still not sure about it.  I feel very iffy.  Ran out of time and didn't get to think it thru too much.
