There will be a quiz in class, one week from today. It is a closed-book quiz. We have not planned a review session, but feel free to come to Mike's or Tiffany's office hours on Wednesday or Friday afternoon if you have questions. We have released previous years' quizzes and answer keys on the handouts page.
You should have received grades for HW1, PS1, PS2, GR1, and GR2. If you haven't received any of these, please let us know.

Also note the times on the course calendar for the outside-of-lecture "prototype building" and "prototype testing" sessions. Prototype building is optional, but prototype testing is mandatory for all who don't have other commitments. At the absolute minimum, one person from your group must be present.

When handing in assignments by emailing 6831handin, please do so such that the "From:" header contains your MIT address. It will make the graders' job much easier. This can be arranged to work through accounts like Gmail; if you need help doing so, email 6831staff.
The next group project assignment, GR1: Task Analysis, has been released. It's due next Friday.
Next week, we'll have lectures on Tuesday and Friday, but not on Monday or Wednesday.
Mike will be holding office hours for PS1 in the 32-G 7th floor lounge on Wednesday, February 13th, from 2-4pm. Tiffany will be holding office hours in the same location on Friday, February 15th, from 2-4pm.

The lecture notes for today are available. In the future, lecture notes and readings will be released the day before class (if not earlier), and you will be expected to have read them and submitted a reading memo before class. Your first reading memo is due this Friday, Feburary 8th, by noon. Reading memos may be submitted either by email or by using the Tutor, a Firefox extension that allows you to annotate the lecture notes web page directly.
Also released are lecture notes for L2, as well as the first homework (HW1) and the first group assignment (GR0).
