On a total of one side of one sheet of paper, using 10 pt type or larger, with standard interline spacing and margins, respond to all the following.
Imagine that you are Michael Klein. A few years pass, you get your PhD, and you find yourself newly hired as an Assistant Professor at a prestigious university.
Meanwhile, Winston has become Director of DARPA.
You decide it would be good to push the work in your thesis forward, so you decide to send Winston a five or six page white paper, something like one Gerry Sussman recently wrote, suggesting seed funding, perhaps leading to a program. Note, however, that the Sussman piece is an adaptation by me of a longer piece by Sussman. If I were to write it today, the adaptation would be done in conformance with quint chart organization.
