6.170 / Spring 2006 / LA Lab Hours

Please read the LA Lab Hours Policy page before consulting an LA. Thank you. (Short version: Questions asked in person take precedence over the forum, so expect some amount of delay on the forum. Also, there are no stupid questions, but there are lazy questions. Please feel free to consult the LAs, but only after you've at least spent some effort to solve the problem on your own, and checked the forum for a solution to your problem. Thanks.)

Note: LA hours are subject to change with little notice, so please double-check this page before heading off to the cluster expecting to find an LA! Also, some lab hours are buisier than others. We'll try to arrange LA hours to match the busiest lab times, but we may miss things. If you notice a time the lab is buisy and understaffed, send an email to natan@mit.edu about it and we'll see what we can do.

Spring 2006 LAs:

Clayton Sims <ctsims>
Eric Lieberman <ericl>
David Glasser <glasser>
Kate Hollenbach <kjhollen>
Rob Toscano <rtoscano>
Scott Ostler <sostler>
Stephanie Yeh <syeh>

Feel free to ask Java questions to the LA mailing list: 6.170-las@mit.edu

LAs will hold hours in room w20-575 unless otherwise noted. LA hours change weekly! We will try to ensure that the general covered times stay constant between weeks, but the specific times are not always the same. To get help, add yourself to the help queue.

The following is a map of the w20-575 cluster (the version supplied as of the beginning of Spring term). For example, the computer just right of the entrance is machine w20-575-44.mit.edu. You can always get a map of the clusters by adding the locker "cluster-maps". To find out where a particular LA is logged in, you can type

athena% finger username

with that LA's username.
