Package names and functional divisions in the module diagram

I assume that we cannot change the packages that classes like RouteFormatter are in (since that would be part of the specification).  However, if we were able to do so, I would move some classes around to better reflect how they're used.

In my module dependency diagram, can I divide the classes by their function, rather than their package?  The packages would still be mentioned as part of the names of the classes, they would just be organized differently.
