    • Please send an e-mail to your TA if you are planning on entering the tournament and if you are bringing guests. You must e-mail your TA by tonight.

Sunday, May 11, 2003

  • All
    • By 4:30pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2003, you should email your TA an executable jar for your project and your final project documentation.
    • You will need to meet with your TA Tuesday or Wednesday to give a half hour demo; your TA should contact you about scheduling it.
    • You should also cvs tag this release as "final_submission", following the same instructions as for the preliminary release.
  • Gizmoball
  • Antichess
    • Please send an e-mail to your TA if you are planning on entering the tournament. You must e-mail your TA by Monday night.
    • We have posted information concerning how the tournament will be run.
    • File Format Issues:
      • On a pawn to queen promotion, please retain hasMoved and waslastMoved information. Last known position is the last position of the pawn.
      • On a castle or switch, both pieces involved must be marked as wasLastMoved since they both moved.
    • TextUI questions and clarifications:
      • We have provided .input and .expected files to help you figure out what our tests for the TextUI will be like.
      • Additional questions have been answered in the Q & A
