Final Project: Gizmoball Reminders
The Final Report is DUE by 4:30pm on Monday, December 10, 2001.
Schedule time with your TA for the demonstration of your final project 12/10 and 12/11.

Tuesday, October 16, 2001
- The lecture topics for today and tomorrow have been reversed. Today, Prof. Jackson will talk about
the design of the Java Collections API (java.util). Tomorrow, he'll talk about the design of
JUnit. Next Monday will be the third case study lecture, explaining the design of the text processing
program that Prof. Jackson uses for his lecture notes. These case studies are a new feature of the course,
intended to expose to more sophisticated designs than you have seen in the course so far.

- There was a small bug in the staff implementation of RatPoly that is causing some students to fail tests with NaN errors. The bug (and fix) is described in the errata section of the ex2 handout.

doing your exercises on your home machine and using Visio 2000.
